Samantha Lovelock is the author of emotionally-charged, contemporary new adult romantic suspense novels. The first three books in her Folkestone Sins series have all reached number one in their category on Amazon, and are now available on bookstore shelves in western Canada.
A sarcastic individual with a decent sense of humor, she has her own darkness hidden away in mind-closets that occasionally Jack-in-The-Box her unsuspecting ass.

Her guy means the world to her, and so does her cat (sometimes even in that order), and her Mum is her hero, hands down. Here are 10 fast facts about Samantha:
1. The klutz gene is strong in me. When I was younger, I fell down the same set of stairs three times in the same day, I broke my toe folding a blanket a few months ago, and I ripped the entire nail off my middle finger changing bed sheets once.
2. I have tested with a very high IQ and yet still spell ‘together’ by saying ‘to-get-her’ in my head the way my mum taught me when I was in kindergarten. Every. Damn. Time.
3. Peanut butter and cheese is the bomb, Doritos and Starbucks Very Berry Hibiscus Refreshers are my author must-haves, and just watching somebody eat oysters makes me gag.
4. If I had to choose between being hot or cold, I’d choose cold every time.
5. I love my tv and movies scary and supernatural, mysterious and whodunit, snarky and witty, or romantic. I’m not a fan of sitcoms.
6. I’ve been susceptible to motion sickness my whole life. I can’t do backseats, and I’ve never been on a rollercoaster.
7. I have a ridiculous amount of musical knowledge packed into my head. So much so that going out to play Name That Tune at local bars has resulted in them bringing in radio DJs to try to beat me.
8. I met and dated my guy when I was seventeen years old. We broke up, life went on, and then we reconnected and got together for good eighteen years later. We are a living embodiment of ‘second chance romance’.
9. I consider myself a cat person, but I love all animals in general. My dream would be to have a huge piece of land that I could live on with numerous cats, dogs, alpacas, baby goats, bunnies, llamas, and horses.
10. My mum is the reason I read. She taught me how to read before I even started school, and it’s always been an escape. For that I will be forever grateful.
