I should walk away from Montana Soltin content with the knowledge that I saved her from the Theophilus Killer. However, when I discover she’s found solace at the bottom of a bottle, I make her an offer she can’t refuse.

A distraction from her addiction.

As her sobriety buddy, I’m more than happy to use my dominance to entice her submissive nature, but I soon find myself looking at the possibility of a life I never thought I would have the privilege of knowing.

But when Master’s Inc finds information that suggests the Theophilus Killer wasn’t the head of the monster, I can’t help but wonder how safe she really is.

I saved her once so why do I feel such a strong need to do it again?

The knot tightened in her stomach with each step she took, but oddly, she wasn’t scared. That was the part that surprised her most. She hadn’t taken part in this aspect of the lifestyle since before she’d been abducted, a fact Chase was aware of, and part of her had been worried she’d have a flashback when it came time for this.

It seemed even her PTSD could tell the difference in the horror that she’d been through and what she was consenting to with Chase. She wasn’t naïve and knew she could have a panic attack in the middle of it, but she also knew he was aware of that possibility, which soothed her more than she thought possible.

Once her ass was in the air, Chase ran his fingers over her skin. “I need to know I can trust you to call me, even if you think I’m going to be disappointed in you.” Gripping the blankets in her hands, she took a breath to calm herself.

“I can’t help you as your sponsor if you don’t tell me when you’re in situations like you were last night.” Chase gave her ass a sharp pinch. “You can’t always avoid places with alcohol, but you can damn sure have me there to help.” “I’m sor—” “No.” He cut her off with a sharp swat. “You only listen when you’re in this position unless I ask a specific question. Understand?”

“Yes, Sir.” “Good girl.” Chase held a thin wooden paddle in front of her face. “This is what you will get each and every time you don’t reach out to me for help.” He pulled it out of her view and finished, “I don’t care what you need help with. Got it?” Nodding into the mattress, she whispered, “Yes, Sir.”

Smack! Smack! Smack! It took every ounce of her self-control to stay in place. She hissed and held the blankets in her fist tight enough to see her knuckles turn white. Another five had her crying out, and the five after that left her legs shaking. Before she could say anything to bring it to his attention, she felt his hand on her calf.

“Crawl onto the bed and lie on your belly. Your leg is going to give out,” Chase ordered, moving his hands to her hips so she didn’t fall. When she realized the paddle was no longer in his grasp, Montana released her breath in relief.

“Don’t get too excited, Rajah. We aren’t finished yet.” Once she was settled, he held a belt in her line of sight. “This one is for trying to run from me. I’d like to add that if I catch you jumping out of second-story windows without a wall of flames behind you, what you just got will be the warmup, and I will paint your ass burgundy.”

“I warned you I wouldn’t go easy,” Chase reminded her. “I won’t allow you to hurt yourself because we need to have an uncomfortable conversation. I didn’t get to you soon enough in that cabin to prevent him from harming you, but I won’t let you harm my girl any further.” He took a deep breath. “Do you need to use your safeword?”

Rachel Blake has been writing since high school, but truthfully never thought it would go any further than a few short stories hidden deep within her laptop. It wasn’t until her family moved away from everything they knew that she started writing stuff worth sharing.

Now, she, her husband, their three kids and plethora of animals live in the south.

When she's not running around like your stereotypical soccer mom (sans the minivan) she is writing the type of stories she has always secretly treasured.

Love stories with a sexy alpha male and a strong submissive female.

Amilia Quinn lives in a small town in Oklahoma with her husband and their six kiddos. She has three dogs, two cats, and any number of creepy crawlies unfortunate enough to be caught and stuffed in jars by little hands.

She spends her days at the salon where she’s a cosmetologist, the baseball/ Softball fields, or the basketball court depending on what time of year it is. When she finds a spare moment she likes to write stories with strong, sassy ladies and their dominant men.
